Next Saturday, January 24, Town will welcome a community canine hike called Paw-Sitive Strides, a student led initiative designed to bring people and their dogs together for a morning walk with purpose.
Paw Sitive Strides is organized by three ninth grade students from La Paz School who live full time in Town. Their goal is to welcome families and visitors from outside Town, strengthening connections between communities through simple and inclusive activities. You can check the flyer below.
The event will take place from 7:30 to 9:00 am, starting in front of PVR and following the trail to Playa Dantita and back. Along the way, participating dogs will receive free treats, and additional homemade dog treats prepared by the students will be available for purchase. All proceeds will go toward funding future community wide events in Las Catalinas. Below, you can see a preview of the treats, which look absolutely perfect for our four legged friends.
Las Catalinas is proud of these students and their initiative, and extends the invitation to anyone, with or without a dog, interested in joining and spending time connecting with nature, neighbors and the wider community.
