Our April Farmers Market took place this past Friday, April 24th at Plaza Danta, continuing a monthly tradition many have come to enjoy in Town.
From early in the morning, familiar faces began to arrive and set up their stands. Vendors many already look forward to seeing each month returned with their offerings: fresh fish and fresh baked goods, seasonal fruits, handcrafted wooden bowls and kitchen goods made from local materials, as well as handmade jewelry, swimwear and intimate apparel created through organic, slow fashion processes.

Alongside them, a few new additions joined the market this time. There was a coffee stand, beautifully crafted bamboo products, natural skincare items, and a new fruit vendor offering excellent prices, adding even more variety to what the market has become.

As the morning unfolded, residents, collaborators, and visitors slowly made their way through Plaza Danta. People stopped to chat, to browse, to choose what to take home. Little by little, bags filled with fresh ingredients, handmade pieces, and thoughtful products.

What feels especially meaningful is how this monthly gathering is starting to settle into its own place in Town. It’s becoming something people look forward to, not only as a way to restock on things they already love, but as an opportunity to support local producers and connect with the people behind each product.
