Montaña Flats continues moving forward on schedule, with new slabs completed, walls rising, and the project becoming more visible within the landscape of El Prado.
There is something especially exciting about this phase of construction. For a while, a project can feel mostly technical, shaped by excavation, foundations, reinforcement, and infrastructure. Then, little by little, the work begins to rise above the site. Walls outline future rooms, columns begin to define volumes, and the first signs of each building start to show how the project will eventually settle into the hillside.
Across Montaña Flats, several buildings are now advancing through important structural stages. In Building 1, the first-floor walls continue taking shape while structural columns are being completed. In Building 5, the second-floor walls are moving forward, and the electromechanical rough-in works for this stage have already been completed. For Building 8, wall construction and rough-in installations are also underway, reaching 50% completion.
Further along the site, Buildings 9, 13, and 16 are also progressing through key structural stages. Together, these advances show how Montaña Flats continues to take shape across different areas of the site, with each building moving forward at its own pace.
Infrastructure work is also advancing throughout the project. Teams are working on several stormwater wells and continuing the construction of important walls that help support the overall site. These elements may be less visible from a distance, but they are essential to how the project will function, especially as it becomes part of the terrain and daily life in El Prado.
The update also offers a closer look at how some of the shared spaces will be used. Building 1 will include a convenient vehicle drop-off area, allowing Montaña Flats owners to arrive by car and access the funicular directly from that point. Next to the drop-off, there will also be storage space for shared equipment and condominium maintenance supplies. Building 2 will include a dedicated area where owners can securely store and wash their bicycles, a thoughtful detail for a project designed around movement, access, and everyday convenience.
Step by step, Montaña Flats is becoming easier to imagine. What began as plans, foundations, and early site work is now turning into buildings, circulation, infrastructure, and shared spaces that will eventually support daily life in one of the newest residential areas of Las Catalinas.
