We named her Catalina. This plaque encapsulates a visionary ethos for Las Catalinas, beckoning all who contribute to town life - from residents and visitors to investors and service providers - to embrace and embody these guiding principles.   The plaque reads: Bienvenido a Las Catalinas, un pueblo nuevo en Playa Danta. Las Catalinas será un pueblo con casas, tiendas, restaurantes, posadas y hoteles, parques y plazas. Lo que usted ve aquí es solo el comienzo. Las Catalinas es un lugar diseñado para caminar, y gran parte del pueblo será libre de vehículos. Las Catalinas les da la bienvenida a todos los que comparten nuestros valores de amor, respeto, y honestidad. Por favor, disfrute caminando por nuestras calles y plazas. Visite nuestras tiendas y restaurantes, y disfrute de la naturaleza que nos rodea. Nos alegra que nos visite! Fundado en 2006.   Welcome to Las Catalinas, a new town located here on Playa Danta. Las Catalinas is a town of houses, stores, restaurants, inns and hotels, parks and plazas. What you see here today is just the beginning. Las Catalinas is intended to be a place for walking, and much of the town will be car-free. Las Catalinas welcomes everyone who shares our values of respect, honesty, and love. Please enjoy walking our streets and plazas, visit our stores and restaurants, and enjoy the natural that surrounds us.
