This week, we’ve been sharing the amazing encounters our hikers and bikers have had on the trails. Today, we want to highlight the marine sightings in the ocean!
This past Monday, one of our homeowners shared that during their morning swim at Playa Dantita, they spotted some incredible animals: a nurse shark near the rocky tips of the reef, a stingray, and a turtle.
That same day, another visitor reported seeing a turtle at Playa Danta. And on Wednesday, some residents witnessed two turtles mating and took the picture we share below.
These moments are not only beautiful reminders of the magic of being alive and part of this incredible ecosystem, they also tell us something important about its health. The presence of these animals shows that the conditions here are right for them.
Playa Danta and Playa Dantita are not just for enjoying, they are thriving habitats, quietly alive with the pulse of the ecosystem. It is exciting to realize that, on an ordinary day, we can be witnesses of the wildlife along these shores.
