Vegetation Control: To ensure clear visibility and avoid obstacles, a 2-meter strip on each side of the trail, known as the trail corridor, is meticulously maintained. This involves regular trimming and clearing to keep the vegetation growth in check.
Trail Surface Maintenance: The trail's tread surface is designed to accommodate various types of use and efficiently manage water evacuation. With perpendicular slopes along its orientation, water is directed over the trail in short sections towards the downslope side. This design prevents the formation of ditches or gullies by ensuring water does not run over the trail for long stretches. Essentially, this design makes the trail "self-maintaining."
