Enyucados are a typical local snack made with mashed yuca dough and filled with seasoned shredded beef. The yuca dough is filled with carne arreglada, coated in panko, and fried until golden and crisp on the outside, while staying soft and savory inside. It is the kind of snack that is simple, comforting, and deeply local, especially when enjoyed during the afternoon coffee hour. Although it was created as a coffee time treat, enyucados are available every day from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm throughout the month of June.
