This Saturday, October 31, fairies, superheroes, and friendly ghosts, , storybook characters, and all sorts of magical creatures are invited to gather in Town for a Halloween celebration full of surprises. From 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., children and adults alike can put on their costumes and join us for an evening of treats, games, music, and time together.
For the first time, our Halloween party will take place on October 31 itself, rather than the weekend before. We are excited to celebrate on the day and hope to welcome even more families and friends looking for a place to dress up, have fun, and share in the occasion.
As the festivities begin, little trick-or-treaters can make their way through Town, visiting participating homes where candy will be waiting. With buckets ready to fill, they can enjoy the excitement of going from door to door, sharing their discoveries with friends, and seeing what surprises await around each corner.
There will also be an unhaunted house to explore, along with carnival rides and games for the whole family to enjoy. Whether you come ready to play or simply want to watch the fun unfold, there will be plenty to keep everyone entertained.
This year’s celebration will also honor a special Costa Rican tradition. October 31 is Día de la Mascarada Tradicional Costarricense, and we will welcome mascaradas and a cimarrona to the party. With their colorful characters and lively music, they will bring a piece of our national heritage into the celebration, giving us a chance to enjoy a global tradition while honoring one that is close to home.
Throughout the evening, live music, food, and drinks will give everyone a chance to gather, catch up, and enjoy the festivities. And when the trick-or-treating is done and the buckets are full, the night will end with a family movie night.
