Next week, Central Park will welcome a charming new addition: three pairs of concrete dantas, each featuring a mother and her baby. These custom-made benches are inspired by Playa Danta and Playa Dantita, offering both a place to rest and celebrate Town's natural beauty.
In a previous edition of The Daily, we shared the story of the danta and its connection to the name of Playa Danta. These benches are a direct reference to that bond, bringing the spirit of the surrounding beaches into Central Park.

The idea came from the Construction and Design Department while working on the finishing touches for Central Park. Their vision was to create furniture that would be more than functional, while also honoring the animal that inspired the names of Playa Danta and Playa Dantita.
Each pair will soon have its own special place in Central Park, inviting residents and visitors to pause, sit, and enjoy a quiet moment. These are more than benches, they are a playful and meaningful celebration of Las Catalinas’ landscape and creativity.

The little benches are on their way, so keep an eye out next week and discover your new favorite spot to rest in Town!
