Today marks the beginning of the 2024 Tamarindo International Surf Film Festival. With its focus on surf culture and cinematic artistry, the festival celebrates the profound intricacies of the human experience through modern surf documentaries. We eagerly anticipate a celebration of surf culture, cinematography, and community, with all proceeds going to support the nonprofit organization CEPIA Costa Rica. The funds raised at the festival enable CEPIA to continue offering a wide range of activities and services that promote well-being and social inclusion among local children and families.
This festival stands out for its unique audience-centered approach to awards, putting the power of recognition for the coveted 'Best Film' award in the hands of festival attendees. There are also plenty of fantastic prizes from sponsors like Las Catalinas.
