Just a stone's throw away from Las Catalinas lies Finca La Estancia, offering visitors an authentic Costa Rican farm experience. Meet Canela, Luna, Cangrejo, Palomo, Lucero, Juancho, and Jalapeño – our happy and healthy residents, lovingly cared for by our dedicated team. By day, they roam freely in our lush pastures, and by night, they rest in their cozy, spacious stalls.
Guided by experienced handlers, the horses often venture out with guests along the picturesque hillside of Vivero La Estancia, meandering through untouched tropical dry forest trails to reach an ocean viewpoint. The journey continues as they make their way to Sugar Beach, affectionately known by locals as Playa Pan de Azúcar.
Finca La Estancia promotes eco-friendly initiatives within our community. Through efforts to establish a closed-loop food system, the farm strive to provide our neighbors with access to fresh, organic produce and plant nursery and services, all while actively participating in various local community projects.
