Every last week of the month, the Commercial Leasing team brings together local vendors, residents, guests, and visitors for the Farmers & Artisans Market in Plaza Danta. As we shared in a recent edition of The Daily, this past month's market arrived with new stands, new products, and a few fresh surprises.
The result was a lively and very successful edition, with people constantly making their way through Plaza Danta, stopping at each stand, talking with vendors, and discovering the many products they had brought to Town.
Among the newest additions was an organic fruits and vegetables stand with a generous selection that included lettuce, bok choy, spinach, herbs, tomatoes, zucchini, ripe plantains, bananas, cashews, eggs, and more. There was also a new bakery stand, as well as a coffee art stand inspired by Costa Rica’s Indigenous history, adding a creative and cultural touch to the day.
In the afternoon, visitors were also welcomed with a surprise twist: a singer and guitar player joined the market and filled Plaza Danta with an acoustic soundtrack, giving the afternoon a relaxed and joyful atmosphere as people continued walking, shopping, and enjoying the fair.
The Center of Joy also joined this edition with a thoughtful selection of body products, exfoliating brushes, books with poems and wellness practices, and a variety of sweet and savory buns that quickly became a favorite among visitors.
As always, the market also included jewelry, plush toys, clothing, hats, home accessories, and other familiar favorites that continue to bring variety, color, and personality to each edition.
These monthly markets have become more than a place to shop and are actuallt a chance to meet local vendors, enjoy Plaza Danta in full movement, and bring home something special for the kitchen, the home, or simply the joy of finding something unexpected.
We are already looking forward to the next edition, and to seeing what new vendors, products, and surprises it will bring to Town.
