After a few more intimate pre-opening gatherings, including one dedicated to architects, designers, artists, and creatives, and another created especially for residents and homeowners, Estudio Rambar is ready to celebrate its official Grand Opening in Town.
This Saturday, June 27, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the gallery will open its doors to everyone, welcoming the wider community, visitors, travelers, art lovers, designers, and all those who feel drawn to creativity and culture.
Located in Plaza Central, Estudio Rambar was founded by artist and architect Ale Rambar and cultural consultant Gonz Solórzano as a way to expand opportunities for artists while bringing contemporary art into everyday spaces where people live, gather, and connect. The gallery presents a diverse selection of paintings, sculptures, ceramics, textiles, paper art, and other contemporary works by both Costa Rican and international artists creating in Costa Rica.

The evening will include wine, beers from Papagayo Brewing, and bites from Santarena Hotel, creating a relaxed setting to walk through the gallery, spend time with the pieces on display, meet the team behind the space, and connect with others around art and conversation.
More than a place where art is displayed, Estudio Rambar is envisioned as a meeting point where creativity, culture, and community can come together. As part of the growing cultural life of Las Catalinas, the gallery hopes to create opportunities for residents and visitors to engage with art through exhibitions, public art initiatives, collaborations, educational programs, and community events throughout the year.

This Grand Opening marks an exciting milestone for Estudio Rambar as it officially welcomes a broader audience and continues sharing the work of artists and collectives creating across Costa Rica. Admission is free, and all are welcome to join the celebration this Saturday in Plaza Central.
Looking ahead, the gallery is excited to create more opportunities for residents and visitors to engage with art through exhibitions, public art initiatives, collaborations, educational programs, and community events throughout the year. More than a gallery, Estudio Rambar is becoming another meeting point in Town, a place where ideas and conversations can begin, and where art, creativity, culture, and community come together in one special space.
