At Estudio Rambar Art Gallery, art is not only something to observe or experience, but something they hope people can bring into their everyday lives. Whether through conversation, or by creating it themselves.

As part of this initiative, on May 15 the gallery will host its first workshop, titled *Reality Artistically Augmented*, in collaboration with visual artists Mónica and Juan Carlos, whose joint project is known as Amalgama.

Their work combines photography and painting, creating unique pieces by intervening a digital image through hand-applied color, texture, and gesture.

The workshop explores an intriguing question: *"can reality only be augmented digitally?"*

Participants will first observe this question being answered live, as they watch the artists transform an image in real time. After that, each person will receive a canvas print and begin developing their own version, working in parallel as both the original piece and the participants’ interpretations continue to evolve.

This experience has been designed for beginners, as well as for anyone interested in exploring new creative processes. It will take place at the gallery at 5:00 pm, with a cost of $23 per person, including materials.

Spots are limited, so those interested are encouraged to register in advance by contacting the studio directly at art@estudiorambar.com or via WhatsApp at +506 7207 4978.

This is the first of what is expected to become a series of workshops at the gallery. We’ll share future dates here as they come, so feel free to stay tuned to upcoming editions of The Daily. Estudio Rambar will also be sharing updates through their [social media](https://www.instagram.com/estudiorambar/) channels, where you can follow along and learn about future workshops and activities.
