For those of you reading in Costa Rica, tonight at 8PM there will be more artisan beef available through [Hacienda Sur](https://haciendasur.com).  One of our neighbors here in Las Catalinas, JP, introduced me to this farm.  The whole operation is cared for in the [most impressive](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPdYVrgDqNY) of ways.

Knowing where my food comes from requires a bit more effort, but something totally possible here in Costa Rica.  I think beyond that, it is also knowing who is responsible for the food and services we receive.  As a foreigner, that was something I was looking for...turns out, that is just how many things have always been here.
