Today started off cool and misty, with temperature in the mid 70s, a nice breeze, and a few sprinkled-in showers moving through the area. It’s just the right kind of morning to sit on the front porch and drink a cup of delicious Costa Rican coffee, maybe while reading the news or a good book, or simply spending time with family.
The people of Las Catalinas are an adaptable, lively bunch -- just this weekend I saw an impromptu soccer game happening in the streets even in the thick of the rain -- but I think the people here also have an appreciation for little quiet moments, in the morning or the evening, when there’s nothing that needs to be done except enjoy Costa Rica.
