Early today, Mars was as close as it has been to Earth since 2003 and it won’t be closer until 2287. The red planet appeared as an extremely bright, star-like object that was visible for much of the night, slightly reddish and shining much steadier than a star. If you missed it, don’t worry...Mars will still be especially bright and close tonight, so make sure to look up! The rooftop terrace at Central has fantastic, open sky views, just perfect for looking at the stars on any clear night...Especially great  to watch these rare events happening.
