In this Daily -- Beach Barbecue and El Mercadito
A clear and sunny today, with highs in the mid 80s later in the afternoon and a much lighter breeze for the morning. Temperatures will start in the high 70s and rise steadily throughout the morning into the afternoon, hitting the low 80s by around 10am and the mid 80s at about 3pm, before falling off approaching sunset. The breeze will be light in the morning, down below 5mph, picking up a bit for the evening to around 10mph at dusk. Out in the cove, the waves will be moderate thanks to some milder offshore swell, hanging a little bit above 1ft with a low tide at 11am and a high tide at 5pm. On the trails, both morning and evening will be ideal for a hike or bike ride, with the conditions this evening a particular treat with a moderate breeze and warm temperatures.
Last night in town, the Bahía Group hosted a Beach Barbecue on the beach by Limonada, featuring fresh caught fish and seafood, local meats and vegetables, and a number of sides, salads, and sauces served hot out under the stars. You may know Bahía if you've ever had an in-home dinner at Las Catalinas, and their chef team is especially known for their easygoing, charismatic personalities and their knowledge of the food that they're serving. Lots of familiar faces too.
Also going on in town today is El Mercadito, taking place from 3-7 out front of Limonada. El Mercadito is a chance to meet and engage with local artisans from the surrounding area, and take home some authentic art or crafts made nearby.
This evening, the Beach Club will be hosting Happy Hour from 5:30 to 6:30 as the sun sets, and there are a pair of Yoga Classes tomorrow morning -- one at 7:30am and one at 9am -- both up on the hilltop at Casa Chameleon.
