Looking at a beautiful morning following last night's Halloween celebration, with lots of sun, temperatures in the low 80s, and a low tide around 11am. It'll be an excellent day for a bit of beach soccer, with showers coming in later in the afternoon to cool things off.

After some strong rains throughout the afternoon, the weather cleared up just in time for town to host a lively Halloween celebration. Trick-or-treating started at 6pm and filled the streets with a combination of homeowners, guests, and visitors, all costumed and ready to enjoy the festivities. The streets of Las Catalinas are particularly well suited to trick-or-treating -- kids are free to safely explore the town, where the walkable streets zigzag through town bringing new costumes and friends around every turn, the colorful variety of homes and doorways means that every house is a different experience, and the hidden paths and cozy back alleys add to a sense of excitement and mystery.

The celebration continued afterward all around the beachfront, with carnival games, good music, and good people, before everyone headed home in high spirits with bags full of candy. Hope you all had a wonderful time, and we look forward to seeing you next year!
