In this Daily -- A Look at Next Week

The first of many days in the upcoming months with bright and sunny mornings, some more moisture and cloud cover arriving in the afternoon, and clear and cool evenings, which come together to bring one of the most enjoyable seasons in Guanacaste to life. The trees continue to foliate, with some excellent flowers blooming accompanied by the onset of a few ferns in the trees.

Summer Blooms in Costa Rica

Quite a bit going on in town this week. Tuesday night sees Un Paseo por España at the Beach Club, following up another Champions League Special at Limonada, with Thursday bringing us another edition of the "Vegan Unlimited" Cooking experience, where Chef Gilberto Briceño will be showing the many ways to turn Vegan cuisine to a delightful treat, followed by ConnectOcean's Thursday showing of Tales by Light in the Potrero Community Center.

The big event upcoming this week is Sunday's Mother's Day Brunch in the Conservatory, a special event that will be an excellent way to celebrate a wonderful weekend and give a little bit of love back to the people who make it all happen. And if you’re thinking this is a weird day to hold it, you’re half right -- Costa Rican Mother’s Day is actually in August, but we love our moms so much we’re celebrating the holiday twice.

Altogether, a great week ahead!
