There’s a gentle breeze throughout Town today from the northeast, a milder day for the trade winds (or Papagayos as they’re known in Costa Rica), which are hanging about 8-10 mph on average with infrequent gusts up to around 15mph. Along the streets of Town, perceived wind speed is even gentler, dispersed by Town’s checkerboard layout to offer fresh airflow throughout. Combined with the moderate temperatures we’ve been having for this season in Guanacaste, in the low 80s in the sun and the high 70s in the shade, conditions have been ideal for a morning stroll.
