In this Daily: A Great Morning In Las Catalinas and Las Catalinas in The New York Times
It’s a sunny green season morning today, and town feels full of life. The cool, dawn hours gave way to scattered clouds and a pleasant breeze coming off of the water. The greenery of the mountain is full, the Azulinas are in full bloom around Santarena, and the Malinchillos by Central are alive. Dozens of butterflies and a trio of hummingbirds flutter by. It's as idyllic as it is enchanting.
Down on the beachfront, the sun has iguanas boldly out and about, catching the attention of guests and residents in Limonada and the Pura Vida Ride rocking chairs. Beyond them and out in the surf, a similar blend are enjoying playing in the waves.
Thrilled to share that this morning Las Catalinas was the subject of a full feature in The New York Times. The article, written by Nora Walsh, takes an in-depth look at town’s development. It covers the initial vision for Las Catalinas, the way of life that has come to exist here, and the big plans for the future of town.
The following from the article sums up the beauty, excitement, and luxury of Las Catalinas:
Residents and visitors live a stone’s throw from ocean-view restaurants, an outdoor adventure outfitter, an upscale grocery with a wine cellar, a day spa and clothing and furniture shops. There is also a beach club with an on-site dive center and a collection of child-friendly and adults-only pools. Including a 25-meter lap pool and a hot tub.
