A breezy and sunny morning today, heating up as we reach the end of the day with some cloud cover as we hit sunset. The temperature will start in the high 70s before rising steadily throughout the morning to the mid 80s by lunchtime. The winds should follow a similar movement, steady out of the northeast and rising throughout the day. Out in the cove, expect a gentle swell today, averaging under 1ft, with a high tide right after lunch time that should make for a relaxing morning in the surf. On the trails, the gentler morning temperatures will be very kind to a hike or a bike ride.

One of the best uses of our 11:30 of sunlight today will be checking out the newly completed Plaza Danta. Located between Limonada, Pura Vida Ride, and the Santarena Hotel on Paseo del Mar, Plaza Danta is the new heart of downtown Las Catalinas, and will provide an atmosphere equally suited to swimsuits and flip flops in the morning as it is to elegant dresses, coats and ties in the evening.
After a few months of hard work, the area is finally open to walk through, and is the first completed sign of the coming Santarena hotel. It’s an exciting time, with people all around the world starting to take notice, and a sign of the continuing growth of Las Catalinas.
