The Camino Catalinas building is starting quickly take shape.  Walking past you can see the european style half round copper rain gutters.  The shape of this rain gutter allows for optimal water flow, leaving behind less leaves and debris. The back lip prevents overflow and locks the gutter into place when overlapping one section into another.

The installers pointed me to this website that details out the different colors of the patina which will form over time.   We have other buildings here in town that have used this material, so it is very interesting to learn more about the physics and chemistry behind the coloring.

Next time you come through town, we would be happy to walk around and point out some different examples.
