As of yesterday, the participants of the Singularity University Costa Rica summit have wound down their weekend and traveled home, closing this year’s gathering that was hosted with portions in both Las Catalinas and San José. Singularity University is an international organization that was founded to bring multidisciplinary individuals, teams, and enterprises together to tackle complex, pressing problems facing the world. They have branches in many countries worldwide, and host summits to tackle issues at the intersection of business, technology, social enterprise, and many other areas.
This three-day summit welcomed a group from both Singularity University Costa Rica and other international branches to focus on a few key issues facing Singularity as a whole in the next decade. Talks and workshops focused on the concepts of Futurism, the global impact of entrepreneurship and venture, and the future of Singularity University chapters and gatherings, looking to keep Singularity’s vision and implementation cohesive and up-to-date looking at 2020 and beyond.
