Coyote Spotted Near Las Catalinas: A Glimpse of Local Wildlife

Recently, a two visitors spotted a coyote walking along the road from Potrero towards Las Catalinas.

While it’s always exciting to see wildlife up close, coyotes are naturally shy and tend to avoid people. As you can see in the video below, the coyote quickly ran and hid.

Coyotes are highly adaptable animals, known for their keen senses, slender bodies, and bushy tails. They can be active during the day or night and are skilled hunters, feeding on small mammals, birds, and even fruits. Seeing one is a reminder of the rich wildlife surrounding Town and the importance of respecting these wild neighbors from a safe distance.
