This past Friday, Coraline officially opened in Town. The new wine and chocolaterie is a thoughtful and exciting addition to the commercial fabric of Town, offering a truly unique experience centered around wine tasting paired with handcrafted chocolate.
Coraline’s concept brings together wines mainly imported from France, alongside cava and prosecco, thoughtfully selected to pair with every course and every kind of gathering. Their signature experience combines these wines with chocolate made by Coraline themselves, using cacao from their own farm in Bijagua.
Their chocolates stand out not only for their flavor, but for their clean ingredients and careful process. Visitors can enjoy bonbons with fillings like passion fruit, Nutella and other seasonal creations, as well as chocolate bars, truffles, cocoa powder and cacao nibs. The shop also features complementary products such as ceramic mugs made in Costa Rica, wine carry bags, snacks and coffee, making it easy to put together a special gift basket, especially with the holiday season approaching.
Coraline is designed as an inclusive and educational space, welcoming both adults and children. A sommelier is always present, guiding tastings and sharing knowledge about wine and chocolate, with the intention of creating a place where learning is just as important as tasting.
