Coquelicot is Back with New Seasonal Flavors

Written by Fiorella Vargas | Nov 4, 2025 10:59:59 PM

After a short break during the peak of the rainy season, Coquelicot reopened at the end of October and is back with refreshing new flavors.

One of their latest creations is a pineapple and pitaya sorbet, a water-based option ideal for those who avoid dairy. If you’ve never tried pitaya before, it’s a tropical fruit native to Central America and widely grown in Costa Rica, especially in Guanacaste, where the warm temperatures and humidity create the perfect conditions for this cactus to thrive. Its bright skin and speckled red interior are unmistakable, and it has a lightly sweet, refreshing taste somewhere between kiwi and pear. This flavor is perfect for those looking for something fresh and light.

They also introduced a limited-edition Spookie Cookies and Cream flavor, made with homemade cookies and inspired by Halloween. This special ice cream will be available while supplies last.

We invite you to stop by Coquelicot, taste their seasonal flavors, and enjoy a stroll in Town or at the beach, now that sunny days seem to be slowly coming back!
