We’re excited to share that the improvement of the Public Street, a collaborative donation project with the Municipality of Santa Cruz, has reached an incredible milestone. After months of hard work, we’ve achieved a fully functional road despite challenges like tough weather, tight deadlines, and even a wave of illness that impacted many workers in the final weeks. While a few finishing touches remain, this accomplishment is something to celebrate!
This road isn’t just infrastructure—it’s a testament to the resilience, dedication, and teamwork of everyone involved. As one of the most complex projects ever undertaken in Las Catalinas, its public nature, challenging weather, and demanding timeline make the success even sweeter. Being pioneers in creating a project of this caliber elevates Las Catalinas as a leader in Guanacaste and Costa Rica.
Meet the Visionaries Behind the Project:
Projects like this don’t happen without incredible people. A special thanks goes to Alfa and their crew of 100 workers who pushed through long hours, unpredictable weather, and countless hurdles to make it happen. This talented created something truly extraordinary.
This project also marks a bittersweet moment as we say goodbye to Diana Cascante, our Director of Design, Development, and Construction. After 8 years of shaping 75% of the town’s construction, this road is her parting gift to Las Catalinas. Diana’s work has left an indelible mark on our community, and we wish her all the best as she takes on new adventures beyond our shores.
Thank you to the Municipality of Santa Cruz for trusting us, to Alfa for their tireless efforts, and to everyone who supported us along the way. Together, we’ve created one of the most stunning public streets in Costa Rica, and a legacy for generations to come.
Gracias a todos!
