Celebrating the Magic of Christmas in Town this Saturday 13th

The countdown for our Christmas Party has come to an end as it will be taking place tomorrow.

Town has been getting ready, with its wooden Christmas trees in Plaza Mercado, the small ornaments hanging from the eaves of the roofs surrounding the plaza and the Christmas lights adorning the trees. A full list of activities has been carefully planned and coordinated by the Marketing Department, the Commercial Leasing Department and the Activities and Athletics Department.

The itinerary includes activities for all and will run from 12:00 pm to 7:30 pm. The Christmas Market, which we mentioned in yesterday’s The Daily, will also be happening throughout the Christmas Party, so visitors will still be able to browse and find presents.

Elif Academy will host arts and crafts as well as letters to Santa for kids. And, at Center of Joy there will be a tamaleada and a chocolate station. Other activities for children include push bikes and cornhole, a bouncy castle and ball pit, bumper cars and cookie decorating.

At 4:15 pm, live music will begin at the Amphitheater in Plaza Mercado, starting with the Good Vibes Rock School students. At 5:00 pm, Coro Azul, a chorus from SINEM in Nicoya, will sing Christmas carols for guests, visitors and residents.

The original song by Fred Crooks and Haven Gillespie and made famous by Frank Sinatra, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, will come true. Santa will make an appearance at the Las Catalinas' Christmas Party from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

To end the evening at 6:00 pm, Santarena will host a movie night under the stars, a magical close to the celebration.

After all of this, the commercial partners will host an After Party at the Amphitheater with live music from 8:00 pm until 10:00 pm.
