Pura Vida Ride began as a small bike shop 14 years ago. Since then, it has grown into a central part of the community. They are one of our longest-standing commercial partners, and we’re grateful not only because they have witnessed the growth of Las Catalinas, but because they’ve been a vital part of shaping what it is today.
Last week, Las Catalinas hosted a tree planting at Central Park with PVR founders Jake and Amy to celebrate this special anniversary.
More than just a place to book a mountain bike ride or a paddling adventure, gear up, or enjoy some of the best coffee and gelato in Town, PVR feels like the living room of a close friend’s home—one where you know the family, feel welcomed, and are deeply at ease. Over the years, its ocean-view rocking chairs have become a calm and familiar spot where visitors and residents sit, talk, and take in the sea.
We want to take a moment to thank them for being part of Town, for helping neighbors and visitors alike enjoy meaningful moments on the trails, in the ocean, and in the plaza. Their presence matters deeply, and we look forward to seeing this tree grow just as PVR has grown in Town.
Thank you for the years of company, adventure, and friendship. Here's to many more.
