Last Friday, May 15, Estudio Rambar opened its doors for an evening centered around art, wine, and conversation in Las Catalinas.
Throughout the afternoon, residents, visitors, Las Catalinas team members, and friends arrived in small groups, constantly moving in and out of the gallery. Some guests wandered in while walking through Town and stayed longer than expected, while others arrived intentionally to connect with the local creative community.
Estudio Rambar offered a glass of wine to everyone who visited. Guests moved through each room of the gallery, taking in the contemporary Costa Rican art that fills the space.
At the gallery, conversations moved between art, travel, architecture, creativity, and life in Guanacaste. Guests explored works by Costa Rican artists represented by the gallery, while the atmosphere remained relaxed and informal, true to the spirit of the evening.
The event felt like an extension of Town itself. A mix of intentionality and serendipity. The natural result of a place designed for wandering, where people often find themselves coming together, connecting in one place, and turning an ordinary moment into something special.
Events like Wine & Art are the kind of experiences that happen naturally in a place where gatherings are less about formal programming and more about creating spaces where people can slow down, discover something new, and interact organically with one another. All of this is also part of Estudio Rambar’s broader vision for the space: to create opportunities for people to engage with contemporary art in a way that feels approachable, social, and connected to everyday life.
Ale Rambar extended his gratitude to everyone who joined the evening and brought so much life to it through their energy, curiosity, and meaningful conversation. More community gatherings, workshops, and special events are already being planned for the months ahead. Stay tuned for more details to come.
