A Quiet, Sleepy Neighbor in Plaza Danta

Over the past few days, a special friend has been making a quiet appearance in the Melina trees across from Pura Vida Ride.

It is an anteater (Tamandua tetradactyla), a species native to the region and commonly found moving through forested areas. These animals are usually spotted along the trails, where they rest in well hidden shelters within dense vegetation, under shrubs, fallen logs, or sometimes in abandoned burrows.

In this case, however, this gentle neighbor has chosen an unusual place to rest. Instead of staying low and concealed, it has been climbing the tall Melina tree and settling comfortably among the branches, offering a rare and peaceful sight for those passing by.

If you look up while walking through Plaza Danta, you may catch a glimpse of this lovely visitor quietly resting above the ground. For now, it has become one of the calmest and sweetest neighbors in Town.
