At the end of June, Center of Joy received something truly exciting: its new Vitaeris 320 Mild Hyperbaric Chamber, the only chamber of its kind in the area. This new wellness experience is designed to support recovery, relaxation, circulation, and the body’s natural restorative processes.
The idea began after the Center of Joy team traveled to Austin, Texas, for a biohacking and longevity conference. While there, they came across hyperbaric chambers and began learning more about their potential benefits. The more they listened and understood how this kind of experience could support oxygen availability, physical recovery, and overall well-being, the more they felt it was something they wanted to bring back and share with the community.
The chamber works by gently increasing the air pressure around the body to approximately thirty percent above normal sea-level pressure. This added pressure helps the body absorb and transport more oxygen while the participant breathes normally. During a session, guests can simply lie back, rest, meditate, or enjoy a quiet moment while the chamber does the work.

For those trying it for the first time, the experience is calm and simple. As the chamber gradually pressurizes, there may be a sensation in the ears similar to what happens during an airplane takeoff or landing. Once the desired pressure is reached, the participant relaxes comfortably until the session is complete and the pressure is slowly released.

Every participant is screened beforehand, and each session is conducted according to Center of Joy’s safety and operational protocols.
For Center of Joy, the arrival of the Vitaeris 320 is part of a larger commitment to wellness, recovery, and longevity as their team continues to look for new treatments, products, resources, and habits that can help people live better and live longer, while supporting a lifestyle rooted in greater well-being.
