Earlier last week, the children at Elif Academy enjoyed a very special visit. Charles Brewer, one of the founding partners of Las Catalinas, joined the kids for a morning filled with music and joy.
Before his arrival, the teachers explained to the children that someone important to the creation and development of Las Catalinas would be visiting. The excitement was immediate. Charles was welcomed with genuine enthusiasm and sweet respect, setting the tone for a truly tender moment.
He arrived with his guitar and spent time singing several songs with the children. What followed was a warm and interactive musical session where the kids sang along and danced. The space quickly filled with movement, rhythm, and the kind of happiness and freedom that children naturally share.
The children at Elif were joyful after the visit. It was a beautiful moment of connection, and a reminder of how simple, thoughtful interactions like these help strengthen the sense of community that defines life in Town.
