If you have been walking through Town in the late afternoon or evening, you may have noticed a new addition along the stairway that connects La Rambla with Lantana.
A couple of weeks ago, the DCL team installed solar lights along this path, helping improve the experience of walking through the area after sunset. The lights bring a softer glow to the stairway, making the route easier to follow at night while also adding a simple layer of beauty to this growing connection between Main Street, La Rambla, Lantana, and El Prado.
For those currently renting or staying at Lantana, the new lighting also adds one more way to move comfortably through Town. It creates a more inviting pedestrian route and helps reinforce how these areas are beginning to connect through daily use, even as the surrounding neighborhood continues to take shape.
Although this stairway is temporary for now, it plays an important role in encouraging pedestrian movement through this part of Town. Over time, this connection will become part of a more permanent sequence of concrete stairs and public spaces, linking Plaza Cachimbo and Paseo de Los Arcos as included in the master plan.
For now, the solar lights offer a small but meaningful improvement: a brighter path, a more comfortable walk, and another sign of how Town continues to grow through the details that shape everyday life.
