With the arrival of the green season, heavy rains have been affecting the municipal road that connects Las Catalinas with Potrero.
The pavement has taken a toll, and new potholes have appeared, so we kindly remind everyone to look out for each other, drive slowly, and take extra care on your way to and from Town.
Another area impacted by the rains are the trails. Our agroforestry team works daily to keep them clear and safe, removing branches or debris that may fall after storms. But since nature is a living entity, if you go for a hike and notice any branch that needs to be moved or a section that requires some work, feel free to send an email to Michael García at michael@lascatalinascr.com with pictures and location details so he can coordinate with the team and clean the area.
Last Monday, a resident reported a few trails in the morning, and by the afternoon Michael had already replied, confirming that the areas had been inspected and the two fallen trees removed. Everything was back in order just a few hours after the report, so you can be sure the team is tirelessly working to keep the trails always accessible and safe for everyone.
