Last week brought a particularly sweet moment in Town. In one of the tall Almendro trees in front of Celeste, a family of eight howler monkeys was spotted resting comfortably among the branches.
Around lunchtime, the monkeys had settled in for a peaceful nap. Their presence quickly caught the attention of passersby, who paused along the street to admire the scene and capture photos and videos of the unexpected visitors.
Among the group were two tiny babies, curled up beside their mother, sleeping soundly as the branches swayed gently in the breeze. Further out along the limbs of the tree, several larger monkeys, likely the males, stretched across the branches, also enjoying a well deserved rest.

For a little while, the busy rhythm of the day slowed down as people stood quietly beneath the Almendro, watching this small family do what they do best: nap high above the street, completely at ease.
It was one of those simple moments that makes walking through Town feel a little more magical.
