With Halloween just around the corner, Town is getting ready to celebrate with activities that bring the season to life in different ways. On the artistic side, Estudio Rambar is adding a little extra color to the festivities with a hands-on painting workshop led by local artist Dani Loaiza of Colibrí Tornasol.
On Thursday, October 29, participants are invited to spend an evening transforming concrete skulls into colorful works of art, taking inspiration from the decorative traditions of Día de los Muertos and the playful spirit of Halloween.
Throughout the two-hour workshop, Dani will guide participants as they experiment with colos, patterns, and details to create their own designs. From vibrant floral motifs to more imaginative interpretations, each skull will become a personal piece to take home. No previous painting experience is needed, making this an opportunity for anyone curious to explore their creative side.
The workshop will take place at Estudio Rambar from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with all painting materials, a concrete skull, drinks, and snacks included in the $39 (₡18,000) participation fee. Spaces are limited, so advance reservations are recommended. To join, simply send a direct message to Estudio Rambar on Instagram.
Beyond the seasonal celebration, the evening offers a fun opportunity to gather around art in Town, whether with friends, neighbors, or your children, and enjoy some quality time together while creating something special to take home. No previous painting experience is needed, just a little imagination and a willingness to get creative!
