Last week, one of our project managers from the Construction and Design team found two baby birds that had fallen from a balcony at Plaza Carlota.
Their nest was located on a homeowner’s balcony, and some members of the construction team suspected the nest had come loose. But after some observation, they realized the birds were likely in the middle of a flying lesson and simply couldn’t make their way back up.
With the help of the homeowner, the team carefully placed them in a box and returned them to the balcony where they had come from.
Before long, their mother returned and fed them a worm.
Here’s a video that captured the moment.
Once the birds were safely reunited with their mom, the construction team returned to their duties grateful to have witnessed and been part of this quiet moment of nature.
Town is surrounded by nature, and small wonders like this happen every day. We’re happy to share a little of that magic with you.
