For those of you reading in Costa Rica, tonight at 8PM there will be more artisan beef available through Hacienda Sur.  One of our neighbors here in Las Catalinas, JP, introduced me to this farm.  The whole operation is cared for in the most impressive of ways.

Knowing where my food comes from requires a bit more effort, but something totally possible here in Costa Rica.  I think beyond that, it is also knowing who is responsible for the food and services we receive.  As a foreigner, that was something I was looking for...turns out, that is just how many things have always been here.
