It was nearly a year ago to the date that we celebrated the opening of beautiful Plaza Lucia. This plaza will become the classic single tree plaza of Beach Town. It is exciting to imagine her canopy providing shade in the day and filtering the moon rays in the evening. Thursday we enjoyed a small gathering pop up in the plaza (photo). In true Las Catalinas fashion, the hosts were kind enough to invite many that passed by to stay and enjoy the food...and the company.
It was a special night for me, as it marked the night my son really learned the enjoyment/freedom of being on his own power. On the bike of a neighbor, he made lap after lap after lap around Lucy's tree.
A special night, in a special place. We open Plaza Carlota next week, and am already excited to think of what other special memories will be made there too.
